Purpose: to recognize teachers who have shown a dedication to Health Science Education through personal growth, student leadership development, student career path opportunities, mentorship of other teachers, and community involvement.
The THOA, Inc. Distinguished Teacher Award is a lifetime achievement award given to Health Science educators with a minimum of 10 years of experience teaching CTE courses within the Health Science TEKS-approved courses.
The THOA members with this designation will be announced at the awards luncheon each summer at the professional development conference. The deadline for submission is July 7.
